Akram Batikh of the PRA Group won the Best Student Paper at the ANS PSA Conference 2023 for his paper and presentation on the “Time-Dependent Fragility Curves for SSCs: Incorporating Seismic Aftershocks in Multi-Hazard PRA”. The paper was one of the four finalist papers presented at the conference in a dedicated PSA Student Paper Competition session. This work was developed under the DOE Grant on Advancing Multi-Hazard Risk and Safety Considerations for Aging Nuclear Facilities.
